Orange County
African American
Employee Network
Our Background
The African American Employee Network (AAEN) was established in 2012 as an initiative by a group of Orange County Government employees. The team coordinated with HR to establish AAEN's processes and communication. In 2020, the organization name changed to Orange County African American Employee Network (OCAAEN).
Our Mission
OCAAEN is a dedicated group of Orange County Government employees whose mission is to identify, educate, motivate, and mentor fellow African American employees and colleagues within the organization.
We invite Orange County employees as well as those interested in learning more about the OCAAEN to join us at one of our monthly meetings. For more information on how you can become part of the organization, please visit our Getting Involved page.
